To beat our forecast. We expect AirAsia’s 2QFY12/10 results, due out on 18 Aug 2010, to exceed our expectation. We expect AirAsia’s 2QFY12/10 core PBT to come in at RM125-135m, up 13-22% vis-à-vis RM111m recorded in 1QFY12/10. Cumulatively, 1H core PBT of RM236-246m will have accounted for 55-57% of our full-year forecast of RM432.1m (The full-year consensus PBT of RM600m is not meaningful as it may have been inflated by exceptional gains).
