Emas Kiara Industries Berhad : Second Penang Bridge To Pick Up Where KLIA2 Leaves Off - 13/09/2010
♦ New orders from Second Penang Bridge, more from KLIA2. Emas
Kiara has recently secured combined new geodrain orders of about RM30m
from all the three contractors involved in the land portion works of the
Second Penang Bridge, as well as the other earthwork contractor of the
KLIA2. The new geodrain orders from the Second Penang Bridge are
particularly timely as they will pick up where those of the KLIA2 are going
to leave off.

- KFCH’s original plan was to open 12 outlets in FY2010, although we understand that target is now trimmed to 7 outlets. The reason for the lower target openings is due to the unexpected problems in the renovation of the stores combined with various red tape issues when getting approvals.

Emas Kiara Industries Berhad : 1QFY12/10 Net Profit Grows 23% YoY - 31/5/2010
In line. 1QFY12/10 net profit came at 22% of our full-year forecast. However, we consider the results within our expectation as we expect stronger quarters ahead as work on the RM50m contract for the supply and installation of geosynthetic products for the new permanent LCCT project gathers momentum.
