♦ Tight logs supply. We understand poor weather conditions have continued
into the current quarter, pushing down Jaya Tiasa’s logs production in
1QFY04/11 by 8.3% qoq and 22.6% yoy respectively. We understand that
labour issues due to stricter government policy on foreign workers also
contributed to the production decline. However, as these issues were
experienced industry-wide, this caused a tight supply of logs and drove up
prices.
