Update on High Speed Broadband. Since its official launch on 24 Mar 10, TM’s UniFi packages have registered a take-up of 600 households as of 5 Apr 10. Although most of these subscribers were previously Streamyx users, UniFi would generally help TM both in terms of customer retention and acquisition in the rollout areas over the long run. TM also plans to bring in more content on revenue-sharing basis in order to boost its content offering while avoiding having to incur significantly higher content costs.
