SPLASH re-aligned offer. To address the Federal Government’s negative response to its offer made on 24 Mar 10, Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Sdn Bhd (SPLASH) had on yesterday re-aligned its earlier offer to take over Selangor state’s water assets. While maintaining its total offer price of RM10.75bn for the state’s water assets, SPLASH proposed that ownership of the state’s water assets will be carried by Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd PAAB), if SPLASH succeeds in its takeover offer. SPLASH will pay PAAB lease rentals of 6% per annum with an annual escalation of 2.5%.
