Cash offer of RM4.30/share to privatise Astro. Astro announced yesterday that it had received a notice of conditional take-over offer from Astro Holdings Sdn Bhd (AHSB) to acquire all the ordinary shares in Astro for RM4.30/share, satisfied in cash (Offer). The Offer is conditional upon AHSB achieving an acceptance level of more than 90% and approval from the relevant authorities. On 17 Mar, AHSB has secured irrevocabl undertakings from parties that hold a collective stake of 72.9% in Astro to accept the Offer. An estimated timeline for the Offer is as set out in Table 2.
