Background. Focus Point Holdings’ history can be traced back to 1989 when its founders, namely Dato’ Liaw and his brother, Liaw Choon Kuan started their professional eye care centre in Muar, Johor. Since then, the company has expanded its chain of professional eye care centres (144 in total) across Peninsular Malaysia, including 69 outlets that are wholly-owned, 74 outlets franchised and the remaining licensed. Collectively, the company owns the largest chain of professional eye care centres in Malaysia.
